Marcus Rashford misses England training again

England striker Marcus Rashford misses a second training session ahead of the start of the World Cup due to a knee injury.

England striker Marcus Rashford has missed another training session in the buildup to his side's World Cup opener against Tunisia on Monday.

Rashford picked up a knock before the team flew out to Russia and was subsequently kept out of Gareth Southgate's first session in the country yesterday.

The Manchester United man has played down concerns over the knee injury, but he was once again absent for England's second day of training and instead will conduct separate preparatory work at the team hotel.

Rashford's absence is understood to be precautionary, although it could harm his chances of starting the Group G clash with Tunisia in Volgograd.

The 20-year-old thrust himself into contention for a starting berth ahead of Manchester City's Raheem Sterling with a man-of-the-match display in England's final warm-up game against Costa Rica.
