Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 'furious with Paul Pogba agent'

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly furious with Mino Raiola for the timing of his Paul Pogba transfer announcement.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was reportedly left furious with Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola following his transfer admission.

The midfielder's representative announced that Pogba's time at Old Trafford is "over" the night before United took on RB Leipzig in a crunch match in the Champions League.

The Red Devils lost that game 3-2, which confirmed their elimination from Europe's premier competition, and United have since been drawn against La Liga giants Real Sociedad in the Europa League last 32.

According to Sky Italia, Solskjaer was left seething with Raiola following the timing of his announcement, with Pogba playing just under half an hour of the Leipzig defeat as a substitute.

The report claims that the Red Devils are prepared to entertain offers for Pogba if he wishes to move on, but Solskjaer would have preferred Raiola's comments not to have come out during the season.

Pogba's agent also said that a deal to sell the World Cup-winning Frenchman in the summer would be more likely than an exit next month, with Pogba tied down to United until 2022. body check tags ::
