Report: Samuel Umtiti does not want to leave Barcelona

:Headline: Report: Samuel Umtiti does not want to leave Barcelona:
Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Manchester United, is reportedly refusing to leave the club.
By , Senior Reporter | 4d

Samuel Umtiti has reportedly informed his Barcelona bosses that he has no intention of leaving the club this summer.

The Catalan club had supposedly been holding out for offers for the France international, who struggled for form and fitness in 2018-19.

Umtiti, who joined Barca from Lyon for £25m in 2016, spent time on the sidelines with a knee injury last season and struggled to win back his place.

Spanish outlet Marca claims that the 25-year-old is refusing to budge, however, which could be a massive blow for the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United.

Meanwhile, the report indicates that Barca are closing in on an agreement with Ajax for Matthijs de Ligt, pushing Umtiti further down the defensive pecking order.
