Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has reportedly indicated that he is open to a transfer to Juventus.

Rakitic has enjoyed a successful period with Barcelona since moving to Camp Nou in 2014, but it has been suggested that the 31-year-old could be allowed to leave the club in the summer.

Manchester United have been linked with an approach for the player, although it has been claimed that the Croatia international would prefer to remain with Barcelona.

However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Rakitic has given the green light to a switch to Juventus if Barcelona opt to sell him ahead of the next campaign.

Rakitic still has over two years left on his contract, but the former Sevilla man could soon find himself down the pecking order at Barcelona due to the arrival of Frenkie de Jong.
