Manchester United prioritising new central defender ahead of summer window?

:Headline: Manchester United prioritising new central defender ahead of summer window?:
A report claims that Manchester United are prioritising a new centre-back when the transfer window opens, with Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly an option.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly made signing a new centre-back his top priority for the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are expected to push ahead with some big-money signings ahead of next season, despite a huge drop in revenue owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

Borussia Dortmund pair Jadon Sancho and Erling Braut Haaland have been regularly linked with a move to Old Trafford, but The Express suggests that Solskjaer is instead targeting a central defender.

Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly is one possible option for United, it is claimed, but they will need to hand over around £74m to see off competition from Liverpool and Manchester City.

Koulibaly has spent six seasons with Napoli, racking up 233 appearances in all competitions, but the Italian club are believed to be ready to cash in on the Senegalese.
