Manchester United, Chelsea 'keeping tabs on Middlesbrough defender Dael Fry'

Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on Middlesbrough youngster Dael Fry.

Middlesbrough defender Dael Fry has reportedly caught the eye of Manchester United and Chelsea.

The 20-year-old, who was part of the England squad that won the Under-20 World Cup earlier this year, has become a regular fixture in Garry Monk's Boro team this season.

According to TEAMtalk, Premier League giants United and Chelsea have been impressed by Fry's performances, but Boro are keen to tie him down to a new contract.

It is believed that the Championship outfit are close to opening talks with the homegrown talent regarding his long-term future at the Riverside.

Fry has started all but two of Boro's league games this season.
