Manchester United 'will not let David de Gea leave in summer'

Manchester United reportedly decide that they will not allow goalkeeper David de Gea to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Manchester United have reportedly decided that they will not allow David de Gea to leave Old Trafford.

De Gea has been with United since 2011, but United have so far failed to agree a new deal with the Spanish goalkeeper.

The 28-year-old has just over a year remaining on his contract, but according to The Mirror, United will not be forced into parting ways with the stopper.

The report suggests that the two parties are not close to reaching a compromise over fresh terms, but the North-West giants are prepared to play a waiting game in negotiations.

United were recently forced to activate a 12-month clause in order to keep De Gea at the club past the end of this season.
