Everton responds to Manchester United talk

Gremio attacker Everton - strongly linked with Manchester United - says that he will consider his future at the end of the season.

Gremio attacker Everton has revealed that he will consider his future at the end of the season amid suggestions that Manchester United are interested in his services.

The 22-year-old has scored 16 times in 37 appearances for Gremio during the current Brazilian season, and it has been reported that United have been scouting the winger in recent weeks.

Everton also recently made his Brazil debut, appearing in the September friendlies with USA and El Salvador.

The attacker has said that he is aware of interest from United but will wait until the end of the current Brazilian season before deciding his future.

"We all hear the rumours at some point, right?" Everton told SporTV. "I'm going through an exceptional phase, and we know how hard it is when clubs from England look at Brazilian players, for their quality.

"Let's see what happens at the end of the season, wait until it is over, and see what's best both for me and Gremio."

Everton, who is capable of playing in a number of different positions in the final third of the field, has a contract with Gremio until December 2022.
