Manchester United could allow Daniel James to leave the club on loan at the start of 2021, according to a report.

Manchester United could reportedly allow Daniel James to leave the club on loan in January.

The 23-year-old has made five appearances for the Red Devils during the 2020-21 campaign, including three in the Premier League, but the attacker has largely failed to impress.

James has not featured in either of United's last two Premier League matches and could struggle for regular minutes this term, with Edinson Cavani's arrival pushing him further down the pecking order.

The Wales international was linked with a move to Leeds United over the summer, but the Red Devils were not prepared to sanction a loan exit at that stage.

According to The Mirror, the arrival of Amad Diallo from Atalanta BC at the start of 2021 could lead to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side putting the former Swansea City attacker on the loan list.

James has scored four times and registered seven assists in 51 outings for United in all competitions. body check tags ::
