Chelsea, Manchester United 'monitoring Aaron Ramsey situation'

Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who is yet to sign a new contract with the Gunners.

Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a move for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

Ramsey is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium and would be available on a free transfer next summer - or potentially for a cut price in January - if no new deal is agreed with the club.

Arsenal have offered the Wales international fresh terms, but Ramsey is yet to put pen to paper and the Gunners are reportedly growing more concerned that he could leave.

The Mirror reports that Arsenal's Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United are keeping tabs on the situation with one eye on a potential swoop for the 27-year-old.

The likes of Barcelona, Liverpool and Lazio are also thought to be interested in the midfielder should the contract impasse rumble on.

Ramsey has been with Arsenal for 10 years now, making 331 appearances for the club across all competitions.
