Borussia Dortmund 'slash Jadon Sancho asking price'

Borussia Dortmund slash their asking price for Manchester United-linked Jadon Sancho to £80m, according to a report.
Sports Mole

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly prepared to accept a fee of around £80m for Jadon Sancho this summer.

The England international was tipped to move to Manchester United all summer long last year, but the Red Devils refused to fork out a nine-figure sum and he stayed put at the Westfalenstadion.

However, with Dortmund facing the prospect of a season without Champions League football, Sancho continues to be linked with a summer exit along with Erling Braut Haaland.

Given the need to raise funds amid the coronavirus pandemic, SPORT claims that Sancho could be on the market for between £74m and £78m this summer, and United are expected to reignite their interest.

Liverpool are also thought to be keeping tabs on the attacker, who Michael Zorc confirmed has "a gentleman's agreement" with Dortmund to leave the club under certain conditions.

Sancho has banked 12 goals and 18 assists from 34 games across all tournaments this season, and his current deal with Dortmund is due to expire in 2023. body check tags ::
