Al-Ittihad 'to go all out in a bid to sign Mohamed Salah'
Al-Ittihad are reportedly preparing to 'go all out' in a bid to sign Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah, with the Egyptian potentially being offered the chance to become the highest-paid player in Saudi Arabia.
Salah, 31, made the move to Liverpool from Roma in July 2017, and he has enjoyed a hugely successful spell with the Reds, scoring 187 goals and registering 80 assists in 307 appearances.
The forward is already off the mark in terms of the new season, scoring in his side's 3-1 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday, while he provided the assist for Luis Diaz to register in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea on the opening weekend of the new campaign.
Salah penned a new deal with Liverpool last July, and his agent Ramy Abbas Issa recently denied that the attacker could be on the move this summer.

Arsenal youngster Brooke Norton-Cuffy joins Millwall on loan
Arsenal defender Brooke Norton-Cuffy has joined Millwall on loan for the 2023-24 season.
The 19-year-old returns to the Championship following two separate spells with Rotherham United and Coventry City last term, firstly setting up two goals in 20 appearances for the former team.
Norton-Cuffy switched allegiances to Coventry for the second half of the 2022-23 campaign, and he was a key component in the Sky Blues' promotion-chasing side, playing 21 times in the regular season to help Coventry reach the playoffs.
Norton-Cuffy - who primarily thrives in a wing-back role - started all three of Coventry's post-season matches, as the Sky Blues defeated Middlesbrough in the semi-finals before missing out on a Premier League place to Luton Town.

Man United's Brandon Williams joins Ipswich on loan
Manchester United have confirmed that Brandon Williams has joined Championship outfit Ipswich Town on loan for the 2023-24 campaign.
The 22-year-old is not in the plans of Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag for the season and has therefore been allowed to depart in search of regular action.
There is believed to be the option to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign, and Williams has reunited with former Man United coach Kieran McKenna, who has been in charge of Ipswich since December 2021.
"It feels good to be down here and I can't wait to get started," the Englishman told TownTV. "I'm coming here to hopefully get into the team and play a lot of games. There is some very good competition, which is a great challenge, but I'm excited to meet the players and get started.

Carlo Ancelotti rules out late departure for Luka Modric
Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that Luka Modric will not be leaving the club in the latter stages of the transfer window.
The experienced midfielder was linked with a move away from Bernabeu earlier this summer before it was confirmed that he had agreed a 12-month extension with the Spanish giants, with his current deal due to expire at the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
The 37-year-old has not started this season in the first XI, though, with Ancelotti using Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, Jude Bellingham and Toni Kroos ahead of him.
Modric's two appearances against Athletic Bilbao and Almeria have come off the bench in the latter stages, leading to claims that he is unhappy with his situation.

Manchester United 'in pole position to sign Sofyan Amrabat'
Manchester United are reportedly in pole position to acquire Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat before the end of the summer transfer window, with Liverpool pulling out of the race.
The Morocco international is currently training alone at his Italian club amid the speculation surrounding his future, and he has been left out of their squad for Thursday's Europa Conference League playoff first leg with Rapid Vienna.
Amrabat was an unused substitute during Fiorentina's Serie A opener against Genoa last weekend, meanwhile, with the 27-year-old pushing for an exit before the deadline.
Man United have been heavily linked with the midfielder over the last few weeks, although there is uncertainty when it comes to a deal, with the Red Devils allegedly needing to move some more players on before being able to bring him to Old Trafford.

Chelsea have announced that they have completed the signing of Santos forward Deivid Washington.
On Thursday afternoon, head coach Mauricio Pochettino confirmed that the Blues were in the market for a new attacking player to help cope with the absence of several first-teamers.

Crystal Palace 'yet to make breakthrough in Dean Henderson talks'
Crystal Palace are reportedly yet to make a breakthrough in talks over a deal for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
The 26-year-old has been given the green light to make his departure from Old Trafford this summer after failing in his attempts to become the Red Devils' number one.
Following public criticism of his treatment last summer, Henderson was loaned out to Nottingham Forest and kept six clean sheets in 20 games to help the Tricky Trees stay afloat in the Premier League.
Fellow loan signing Keylor Navas stepped in while Henderson was recovering from injury, but Steve Cooper's side were still believed to be interested in a permanent deal for the England international.

Man United, RB Leipzig 'in talks for Croatian starlet Dino Klapija'
Manchester United and RB Leipzig are reportedly going head-to-head for the services of 16-year-old Croatian starlet Dino Klapija.
The striker was born in the United States and plied his trade in the New York City FC academy before making the move to Dinamo Zagreb in March.
Klapija left Dinamo Zagreb after a few months to join Kustosija, where he is yet to make his first-team breakthrough, but he has earned plaudits for his showings at youth level.
The 2007-born teenager also made his debut for Croatia's Under-17 team last December, playing 41 minutes of a 2-0 friendly over Montenegro, although he is still eligible to represent the USA at senior level.

Arsenal perform U-turn on Gabriel Magalhaes stance?
Arsenal could reportedly be open to selling key defender Gabriel Magalhaes in the final knockings of the transfer window should they secure a suitable replacement.
The Brazilian defender's partnership with William Saliba was crucial to the Gunners' ultimately unsuccessful title push in 2022-23, as he was hailed as one of the Premier League's best defenders last term.
However, Gabriel has started the new season on the bench, only coming on for cameo appearances in Arsenal's opening fixtures against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.
Thomas Partey has been occupying a hybrid right-back role in Arsenal's new system, meaning Ben White and Saliba have paired up in the heart of defence, while Jurrien Timber and Takehiro Tomiyasu were given the nod against Forest and Palace respectively.

Pochettino: 'No change in Lukaku situation at Chelsea'
Head coach Mauricio Pochettino has reiterated that he is yet to hold a conversation with Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku.
To coincide with Pochettino's arrival at Stamford Bridge earlier this summer, Lukaku made his return to his parent club after a loan spell with Inter Milan.
With the Belgium international making his first appearance at the club's training ground after the Premier League outfit had travelled to the United States for a pre-season tour, there was not a time for Pochettino to speak with the player.
Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital had initially hoped to have parted ways with Lukaku before Pochettino and his squad returned from their time Stateside.

Fluminense's Andre responds to Liverpool speculation
Fluminense midfielder Andre has admitted that he is "happy" to be linked with a move to Liverpool but insists that he is only focused on representing his current club.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Anfield throughout this month as Jurgen Klopp seeks to further bolster his options in the middle of the pitch.
Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Wataru Endo have all joined the Reds this summer, but after seeing as many as seven midfielders depart earlier this summer, Klopp is believed to be keen to recruit at least one or two more before the transfer window closes on September 1.
Liverpool were understood to have stepped up their interest in Andre after losing out to Chelsea in the race to sign both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia earlier this month.

Olmo has scored 25 goals and provided 29 assists in 125 appearances for Leipzig across all competitions, including five strikes and 11 assists in 31 games during an injury-hit 2022-23 campaign in which Die Roten Bullen won the DFB-Pokal.
The Spain international has since made a bright start to the new season, scoring a hat-trick in the 3-0 German Super Cup triumph over Bayern Munich before finding the net in Leipzig's 3-2 Bundesliga defeat to Bayer Leverkusen last weekend.

The 24-year-old has emerged as a leading target for the Citizens after they decided to walk away from negotiations with West Ham United to sign Lucas Paqueta amid a FIFA and FA betting investigation into the midfielder.
Following the departure of Ilkay Gundogan to Barcelona and the injury suffered by Kevin De Bruyne, Pep Guardiola is looking to recruit a new midfielder before the summer transfer window shuts on September 1.
A recent report claims that Man City have stepped up their interest in Nunes and have submitted an initial bid in excess of €50m (£42.7m).

The 21-year-old endured a breakout campaign in 2022-23, contributing 11 goals and four assists from his 36 appearances in La Liga.
As a result, Veiga has also gone on to earn nine caps for Spain Under-21s, while a release clause in his contract has led to widespread interest this summer.
Moving to a Premier League club appeared a foregone conclusion at one stage with the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Newcastle United all being heavily linked.

Liverpool 'identify Sane, Chiesa as Salah replacement'
Liverpool have reportedly identified Leroy Sane and Federico Chiesa as potential transfer targets for 2024.

Wataru Endo, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai have all been acquired to boost their midfield ranks, the latter also able to feature in the final third.
Attack is an area where Liverpool are well stocked, yet there is uncertainty over whether they will be able to retain the services of Mohamed Salah in the long term.

Manchester United make enquiry for Wolves defender Semedo?
Manchester United have reportedly identified Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Nelson Semedo as a potential transfer target.
The Red Devils have endured a mixed summer window thus far, even though they have added Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund to their ranks.
Head coach Erik ten Hag has been left frustrated that he has been unable to add a new centre-back and central midfielder to his squad, a consequence of the necessary sales not materialising.
As the transfer window draws closer to a conclusion, the likelihood is that United may be able to offload a number of squad members in the hope of signing at least one fresh face.

Burnley sign Aaron Ramsey from Aston Villa
Burnley have announced the signing of midfielder Aaron Ramsey from Aston Villa on a five-year deal, with the youngster becoming the Clarets' 11th arrival of the summer.
The 20-year-old departs the club that he joined as a boy in order to switch to Turf Moor, where Vincent Kompany's Clarets will be looking to avoid an immediate return to the Championship.
Ramsey has enjoyed three loan periods away from Villa Park over the past two seasons, firstly heading to Cheltenham Town for the latter part of the 2021-22 term.
Temporary spells at Championship sides Norwich City and Michael Carrick's Middlesbrough in 2022-23 have allowed the playmaker to further develop his talents, with the player scoring eight goals and providing four assists in 29 second-tier appearances.

Transfer rumours: Lokonga to Brighton, Ndombele to reject Nottingham Forest
Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly identified Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga as an ideal alternative to Carlos Baleba.
The Seagulls are on the hunt for a successor to Moises Caicedo following his British-record move to Chelsea and were believed to be advancing in talks over a £25.6m move for Lille's Baleba.
However, according to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook, a deal to bring Baleba to the Amex has stalled, and Brighton have turned their attention to Arsenal and Belgium lynchpin Lokonga as a result.
The 23-year-old arrived at the Emirates from Anderlecht in 2021 and was tipped to become a success at the Emirates, but he has failed to live up to his potential under Mikel Arteta.
