Josh Cullen extends Burnley contract until 2026
"I'm really happy to extend my time here, especially off the back of last year which was a really successful year for the Club. I can't wait to continue my career with Burnley," Cullen told the Clarets' website.
"It will be great to get back to Turf Moor this weekend and be in front of the fans again and hopefully get our first three points on the board."
West Ham 'make formal offer for Dominic Solanke'
West Ham United have reportedly indicated to Bournemouth that they would like to sign Dominic Solanke.
Despite taking their time to reinvest money generated from the sale of Declan Rice, the Hammers have enjoyed a strong start to the new Premier League campaign.
After beginning with a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth, the East Londoners recorded a 3-1 victory over Chelsea on Sunday, despite being reduced to 10 men for the final quarter of the contest.
Centre-back Konstantinos Mavropanos is on the brink of moving to the London Stadium in a deal worth £19m, West Ham's spending moving to somewhere in the region of £85m.

Luton Town, Inter Milan in battle for Japhet Tanganga?
Luton Town are reportedly interested in taking Tottenham Hotspur's Japhet Tanganga on loan this season, with Inter Milan also keen on the player.
The 24-year-old struggled for game time under Antonio Conte last term, starting just two Premier League matches for Spurs as they finished eighth, meaning they missed out on European football.
Tanganga has played 50 times for the North Londoners since making his debut in August 2018, although the defender has failed to cement a place as a regular for the Lilywhites.
The 2021-22 term saw the Englishman feature in 11 league games for Tottenham - the only time the centre-back has reached double digits in terms of appearances in a single campaign.

Alexis Sanchez in line to return to Inter Milan?
Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta has indicated that Alexis Sanchez could return to San Siro this summer.
Last season's Champions League runners-up have endured a hectic transfer window as they bid to strengthen their squad and stay on course to meet FFP regulations.
Of their attacking ranks, only Lautaro Martinez has remained at the club, with Romelu Lukaku returning to parent club Chelsea and Edin Dzeko accepting an offer from Fenerbahce.
Marcus Thuram and Marko Arnautovic have effectively been signed as their replacements, and Inter were able to begin their 2023-24 campaign with a 2-0 victory over Monza on Saturday.

Man City 'make verbal offer for Jeremy Doku'
Manchester City have reportedly informed Rennes that they are ready to agree a deal for winger Jeremy Doku.
With less than two weeks remaining of the summer transfer window, the Premier League champions are in the market for at least one new attacking player.
That is a consequence of Riyad Mahrez having moved to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli and Kevin De Bruyne suffering a hamstring injury that will keep him sidelined until the end of 2023.
Furthermore, the future of Cole Palmer remains up in the air despite the academy graduate scoring in both the Community Shield and UEFA Super Cup since the beginning of the month.

West Ham United's Flynn Downes joins Southampton on loan
"The ambition for the club is obviously to get promoted, to get back in the Premier League, and that enticed me a lot," Downes told the official Southampton website.
"Obviously I've worked with the gaffer before. Him (Russell Martin), Gilly (Matt Gill, Assistant Manager), Deano (Dean Thornton, Goalkeeping Coach), Ben (Parker, First Team Tactics & Insights Analyst), I've worked with them and I know what they're about.
"Their attention to detail, the way they play, what they demand of us players – it's just such a good environment to be in, so it's a no brainer really."
Pavard 'rejects Man United in favour of Inter move'
Benjamin Pavard has reportedly rejected a move to Manchester United in order to join Inter Milan instead.
The Bayern Munich defender's time at the club appears to be over, especially after he was left out of the side in their 4-0 win over Werder Bremen on Friday.
Pavard started in the German Super Cup against RB Leipzig, but was taken off at half-time with the Bavarians 2-0 down.
Manager Thomas Tuchel then opted to start with Moroccan Noussair Mazraoui instead for their Bundesliga opener over the weekend.

Kieran Tierney 'still open to Arsenal exit'
Kieran Tierney has reportedly revealed he is still open to leaving Arsenal this summer.
The left-back has gradually fallen down the pecking order in recent years since arriving from Celtic in 2019.
Tierney only started two games for the Gunners in the run-in last season, the 2-2 draw with West Ham United and a 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion.
The recent signings of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Jurrien Timber and Jakub Kiwior has increased competition on the left-side of defence at the Emirates.

Man United 'keeping tabs on Benfica's Vlachodimos'
Manchester United reportedly hold an interest in signing Benfica goalkeeper Odisseas Vlachodimos.
With David de Gea departing Old Trafford and Dean Henderson persistently being linked with a transfer elsewhere, Erik ten Hag has been required to give serious thought to his goalkeeping situation this summer.
Although United have made the big-money acquisition of Inter Milan stopper Andre Onana, there remains uncertainty over who will fill the role of deputy.
While Henderson has been on the substitutes' bench for United's opening two Premier League fixtures, the England international remains a target for the likes of Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.

Real Madrid 'preparing £103m bid for Kylian Mbappe'
Real Madrid may reportedly make an approach for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe later this month.
Throughout the summer transfer window, the future of Mbappe has again been a hot topic of debate courtesy of his decision to formally tell club officials that he intends to depart Parc des Princes in 2024.
With that being immediately disputed by PSG, who do not want to lose their most prized asset on a free transfer, they tried and failed with efforts to cash in on the France international.
More recently, Mbappe has been reintegrated into the first-team squad after a period of being excluded from Luis Enrique's group, subsequently making his return at the weekend.

Transfer rumours: Adams to Everton, Fornals to Sevilla, Archer asking price
Everton are reportedly closing in on the signing of Southampton striker Che Adams in a £15m deal.
The Toffees are believed to have submitted an opening bid of £12m for the Scotland international, who is in the final year of his contract at St Mary's.
Everton's advances were rebuffed, but according to The Telegraph, the Toffees are now growing optimistic of sealing a deal for Adams after upping their offer to £15m.
The report adds that discussions have now entered their final stages, and Everton will beat Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest to Adams's signature.

Sergino Dest joins PSV Eindhoven on loan from Barcelona
PSV Eindhoven have confirmed the signing of Barcelona right-back Sergino Dest on an initial loan deal.
The USA international joins Peter Bosz's side on a temporary move until the end of the 2023-24 season, and Barca have confirmed that the agreement includes an option to make his stay permanent.
PSV are reportedly set to fork out 50% of Dest's wages while the 22-year-old plies his trade in the Netherlands, and the option to buy clause is believed to be set at €10m (£8.6m).
Barcelona have also included a sell-on clause as part of the agreement, as Dest aims to reignite his career in the Eredivisie following a largely disappointing spell in Catalonia so far.
