Manchester United confirm their 24-man squad for Thursday's Europa League contest against Viktoria Plzen, including Victor Lindelof and Toby Collyer.

Manchester United have confirmed their 24-man travelling party for Thursday's Europa League contest against Viktoria Plzen, with Victor Lindelof and Toby Collyer returning to the squad after spells on the sidelines.

Lindelof, Collyer and Jonny Evans all trained on Wednesday, but the latter has not been included in the squad, with the experienced centre-back the only Red Devils absentee alongside Luke Shaw.

Man United have been without the services of Lindelof since the November international break, with the defender picking up a groin problem while representing his country.

Collyer, meanwhile, has been out since the middle of September, with the 20-year-old missing due to an unspecified injury, but he has now returned to provide another midfield option for new head coach Ruben Amorim.

Lindelof, Collyer return to Man United squad for Plzen clash

Lindelof has only made seven appearances for the Red Devils during the 2024-25 campaign, and he is out of contract at the end of the campaign; the 30-year-old is widely expected to depart on a free transfer next year, as he does not appear to be in the long-term plans of Amorim.

Collyer has played three times for Man United this term, and he was viewed as a genuine first-team player by former Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag, but it remains to be seen whether Amorim intends to use him on a regular basis.

Amorim is expected to make changes to the side that started against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday, as he continues to rotate his squad during a busy period of the campaign.

Leny Yoro is in line to make his first European appearance for Man United on Thursday evening, with the Frenchman expected to once again start in a back three.

The Red Devils have picked up nine points from their five European matches this season, which has left them in 12th spot in the Europa League table, one point behind eighth-placed Rangers.
