Juventus 'want Pep Guardiola to replace Massimiliano Allegri'

Juventus want Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola to replace Massimiliano Allegri this summer, according to a report.

Juventus reportedly want Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola to replace Massimiliano Allegri this summer.

Allegri has been in charge of Juve since 2014, winning an incredible four Serie A crowns, four Coppa Italia trophies and two Supercoppa Italiana titles since arriving at the club.

However, the 51-year-old's mentor, Giovanni Galeone, recently claimed that the Italian could walk away from his position at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

According to Sport Mediaset, should Allegri move on, Juve will target a spectacular move for Guardiola.

The Spaniard has been in charge of City since 2016, leading the club to one Premier League title and two FA Cups.

The Citizens are chasing a quadruple this season, but it is understood that Juve are confident of enticing the former Barcelona midfielder to Italy with the offer of a fresh challenge.

Guardiola has a contract at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2021, but left his role with Barca after four years and also spent just three seasons with Bayern Munich before departing.
