  • Borussia Dortmund beat Fulham to Niclas Fullkrug?

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly beaten Fulham to the signature of Werder Bremen forward Niclas Fullkrug.

Despite signing Raul Jimenez from Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this summer, Fulham have been on the lookout for a new striker following the departure of Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Serbia international ended his five-year association with the club to complete a £46m move to Saudi Arabia side Al-Hilal.

With Fulham looking to sign a replacement before Friday's transfer deadline, they had seemingly identified Fullkrug as a potential target.

Chelsea's Tino Anjorin joins Portsmouth on loan

"I think everyone knows that this is something that's been rumbling on for a while. So we're delighted that we've managed to get it over the line and secure Tino's signature – we're excited to see what he's going to bring," said manager John Mousinho.

"We've got a player with Premier League capability, who's excellent on the ball and has real athletic qualities. He can carry it, he can find a pass and he can score a goal – now he has to knit all that together on a consistent basis.

"I think he can be a big threat for us. We're bringing in a real talent and have to ensure we make the most of that. It's a move that we thought was gone after bringing in Alex Robertson, but the injuries to Tom Lowery and Kusini Yengi meant it opened back up again.

"So we're really glad that we've been able to complete the deal and I'm looking forward to working with Tino."

Stoke City bring in Bae Junho

"This is a dream come true because I have always wanted to have the opportunity to play in England," he said on his arrival.

"This is only the beginning for me and I intend to have a long and successful career with Stoke City.

"Moving to England will be something which I need to adapt to, on and off the pitch, but I intend to do so as soon as possible and to help the team with my performances."

Sheffield United sign Luke Thomas on loan from Leicester

Sheffield United have signed Luke Thomas on loan from Leicester City for the remainder of the 2023-24 campaign.

The 22-year-old had fallen out of favour at the King Power Stadium and did not feature in any of the Foxes' opening six matches of the season following their relegation from the Premier League last term.

Manchester United had been credited with an interest in the defender as they continue their search for full-back reinforcements, but Sheffield United have now signed him on loan for the rest of the campaign.

Thomas becomes the Blades' ninth signing since they were promoted to the Premier League, joining Cameron Archer, Gus Hamer, Vini Souza, Auston Trusty, Benie Traore, Anis Slimane, Tom Davies and Yasser Larouci through the door this summer.

Bayern 'make £50m offer for Fulham midfielder Palhinha'

Bayern Munich have reportedly made a £50m bid for Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha.

Throughout the summer transfer window, head coach Thomas Tuchel has been eager to stamp his own mark on a squad that barely defended their Bundesliga title in 2022-23.

Daniel Peretz, Raphael Guerreiro, Kim Min-Jae, Konrad Laimer and Harry Kane have all made the switch to the Allianz Arena to replace the players that have departed for pastures new.

However, uncertainty remains over Tuchel's midfield options with Ryan Gravenberch seemingly edging closer to making the switch to Liverpool before Friday's transfer deadline.

Spurs to consider Eze as Johnson alternative?

Tottenham Hotspur are allegedly giving consideration to making an approach for Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze.

Despite making a strong start to the new Premier League campaign, Spurs' performance against Fulham in the EFL Cup on Tuesday made it clear that further changes to the squad will be required before Friday's transfer deadline.

The focus is likely to be on outgoings, a wide array of players not having a future under new head coach Ange Postecoglou and the Greek-Australian wishing to reduce his squad size.

Nevertheless, having recouped in the region of £86m for Harry Kane, Spurs require a replacement in the final third, whether that be a number nine, a versatile attacker or a playmaker.

Liverpool 'end interest in Palace midfielder Doucoure'

Liverpool have reportedly ended their interest in signing Crystal Palace midfielder Cheick Doucoure.

While Jurgen Klopp had plans to be proactive in the transfer window earlier in the summer, he has arguably had to be more reactive to surprise exits.

Fabinho and Jordan Henderson departed Anfield for Saudi Arabia, leaving him five midfielders light in comparison to last season, and with replacements needing to be found.

Alexis Mac Allister was signed early before Wataru Endo was brought in from Eintracht Frankfurt on the back of Fabinho and Henderson moving to the Middle East.

Transfer rumours: Lenglet to Villa, Iheanacho to Palace, Mengi to Luton

Aston Villa have reportedly reached an agreement with Barcelona to loan French defender Clement Lenglet for the 2023-24 campaign.

The 28-year-old spent last season on loan with Tottenham Hotspur, making 35 appearances for the club in all competitions, including 26 outings in the Premier League.

Spurs were thought to be interested in re-signing Lenglet this summer, while there have also been reports of recent interest from his former club Sevilla.

However, Villa have recently emerged as the favourites, and according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, a loan move to Unai Emery's side has now been agreed.

Forest 'agree Dominguez, Freuler swap deal with Bologna'

Nottingham Forest have reportedly agreed terms on a swap deal with Bologna between Remo Freuler and Nicolas Dominguez.

After last summer's hectic transfer window, which saw Forest buy over 20 players, this time around their business has not been as scattergun.

However, with just two days left of the window, Steve Cooper looks set to get his wish of improving the squad as they look to retain their place in the Premier League again.

Deals for Nuno Tavares, Murillo, Wilfried Ndidi and Odysseas Vlachodimos are all believed to be in the works, and Dominguez now looks set to be added to that list.

Forest to complete Tavares, Murillo double swoop?

Nottingham Forest have reportedly agreed terms to bring defensive duo Nuno Tavares and Murillo to the club.

Forest have struggled to cope with injury, suspension and lack of depth in defensive areas so far this season.

After just one win from their opening four matches of the season though, manager Steve Cooper looks set to get his wish of additional reinforcements to the squad.

Fabrizio Romano claims that both Tavares and Murillo signed off on deals that will see them join the club on Wednesday, and all that is left pending is the confirmation from the club.
