Leeds United and Brighton & Hove Albion are battling it out for teenage striker Mateusz Bogusz, according to a report.

Polish teenage midfielder Mateusz Bogusz is reportedly on the radar of Leeds United and Brighton & Hove Albion ahead of the January transfer window.

The 17-year-old currently plies his trade for Ruch Chorzow, where his performances earned him a trial at Napoli earlier this year.

Bogusz, due to be out of contract at the end of the season, is now believed to have attracted interest from a couple of English clubs.

Polish outlet Przeglad Sportowy claims that Leeds and Brighton are battling it out for the teenager's signature.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa wants to add to his promotion-chasing squad for the second half of the campaign, while Chris Hughton is also looking to the future following a positive first half to 2018-19.

Poland Under-19s international Bogusz has scored five goals in 19 games this season.
