Dagenham boost survival bid with win over Fylde

Struggling Dagenham and Redbridge notched an impressive win over an AFC Fylde side challenging in the Vanarama National League play-off places.

Fylde were ahead inside a minute through Andy Bond, who was then forced off by injury midway through the first half.

His absence was soon felt as Dagenham levelled in the 28th minute, Connor Wilkinson marking his first league start with a low finish from the edge of the box.

And Jack Munns' 64th-minute goal proved decisive for Dagenham, though Nick Haughton twice went close to an equaliser.
