Lyon are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud at the start of 2020.

The 33-year-old has only made seven appearances for the Blues during the 2019-20 campaign, finding the back of the net on just one occasion under the management of Frank Lampard.

The France international continues to be heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge with his contract due to expire at the end of the current season.

The report claims that the Ligue 1 side have placed Giroud - without a goal in the Premier League this term - at the top of their wishlist for the winter transfer window.
