Chelsea to prioritise Kai Havertz over Philippe Coutinho?

:Headline: Chelsea to prioritise Kai Havertz over Philippe Coutinho?:
Chelsea reportedly remain keen on signing Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz, despite alleged interest in Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho.

Chelsea may reportedly be ready to prioritise an approach for Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Kai Havertz during the next transfer window.

The Blues have been heavily linked with Philippe Coutinho, who will be allowed to leave Barcelona later in 2020 and is open to a return to the Premier League.

However, according to The Athletic, Frank Lampard remains keen on agreeing a deal for Havertz ahead of next season.

The 20-year-old has enjoyed a strong campaign at Leverkusen, contributing nine goals and seven assists from 30 outings in the Bundesliga and Europe.

Although the Germany international would cost in the region of £90m, his age and potential may encourage Chelsea to follow up their interest.

Hakim Ziyech is already due to arrive at Stamford Bridge, leaving it unlikely that the West Londoners will look to sign both Havertz and Coutinho. body check tags ::
