Danny Mills backs Joe Hart to rebuild career at Leeds United

:Headline: Danny Mills backs Joe Hart to rebuild career at Leeds United:
Former defender Danny Mills says that goalkeeper Joe Hart, who will be available on a free transfer later in 2020, would be an ideal signing for Leeds United.

Former defender Danny Mills has claimed that goalkeeper Joe Hart would represent "a fabulous addition" for Leeds United during the next transfer window.

Having only featured in cup competitions this season, Hart is ready to leave Burnley on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.

Despite having struggled to find a first-team role since being dropped by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, Mills feels that the experience can benefit both the ex-England number one and the Yorkshire giants.

Speaking to Football Insider, Mills said: "Guardiola threw him under the bus before he'd even seen him play. It has been difficult for him but he is still a fabulous goalkeeper and there is no reason why he cannot come to a massive club like Leeds and resurrect his career.

"If you have a goalkeeper like that, if Leeds can get him on a free transfer, it would be a fabulous addition. He works incredibly hard, he is incredibly dedicated and is very fit."

Leeds currently sit at the top of the Championship standings with nine games remaining. body check tags ::
