Barcelona 'make N'Golo Kante approach'

Barcelona approach Chelsea over a move for N'Golo Kante in this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Barcelona have reportedly approached Chelsea over a move for N'Golo Kante in this summer's transfer window.

Kante has starred for France at the 2018 World Cup, helping his team reach the final of the competition with a string of impressive performances.

Earlier this week, it was claimed that the Blues had begun negotiations with Kante over a new contract at Stamford Bridge, but the departure of Antonio Conte as head coach has led to speculation that the midfielder could leave.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Barcelona have made Kante one of their top priorities this summer, with the Spanish champions hopeful that they can lure the 27-year-old to Camp Nou.

Di Marzio has also claimed that unsettled midfielder Andre Gomes could be offered to Chelsea as part of the deal.

Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in Kante's club teammate Eden Hazard.
