Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana is reportedly hoping to secure a move to the Premier League next summer.

The Cameroon international, who came through the ranks at Barcelona, has made over 190 appearances for the Dutch champions since 2016 and has Champions League experience.

Onana, who is valued between £40m and £50m, had dreams of joining Tottenham Hotspur or Chelsea last season, according to the Daily Mail and the 24-year-old's representatives held talks with Frank Lampard's side before the London club opted to sign Edouard Mendy from Rennes.

Despite committing to a seventh campaign in Amsterdam, Onana is keen on a new challenge and the Premier League remains his preferred destination.

Onana played a crucial role in Ajax's 2018-19 journey to the semi-finals of the Champions League with the stopper ranking first for goals prevented and had an 82% save percentage – the highest of any goalkeeper in the competition that campaign.
