Eden Hazard: 'Chelsea are happy under Maurizio Sarri'

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard insists that new manager Maurizio Sarri has got the team playing full of confidence ahead of a double-header against Liverpool this week.

Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has revealed that the players are enjoying life under new manager Maurizio Sarri.

Former boss Antonio Conte's final season in charge of the Blues was beset by suggestions that he had fallen out with a number of his players, but Sarri has made an immediate impact following his arrival with an unbeaten start.

New signings Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic have also enjoyed good starts to life at the club, and Hazard insists that his side will go into both matches against fellow title hopefuls Liverpool this week full of confidence.

"I think this kind of manager is good when you like football," Hazard told Sky Sports News.

"We try to keep the ball, we try to find solutions. We have good players and we've brought in new players like Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic - players where you need movement. We are all happy on the pitch.

"We just need to keep playing like we are. We are full of confidence at the moment. Liverpool is the kind of game where you want to shine and we will, I hope."

Chelsea take on Liverpool in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night and then again in the Premier League on Saturday.
