Former Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o has said that Jose Mourinho sends his former players football scores via WhatsApp.

The retired Cameroon forward was at Inter between 2009 and 2011, where he worked with the Portuguese and they famously won the treble together in 2010.

Eto'o says that his former boss still keeps in touch with his old players and is as obsessed with the game as ever, often sending out scores from around Europe.

"This man [Mourinho] created a family at Inter Milan," Eto'o said to The Mirror.

"We have a WhatsApp group which we all talk on every day, celebrating birthdays and reliving memories and Jose is always updating us on the scores around Europe, he is obsessed!"

Eto'o was briefly reunited with his former boss in the latter stages of his career as he moved to Chelsea in 2013, spending a season with the Blues.
