Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League fixture against Leicester City.

Chelsea return to action after the international break on Saturday afternoon when they square off against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Enzo Maresca will be overseeing his first game in charge at his former club in the away dugout with Chelsea sitting in third position in the Premier League table.

While the Blues went into the two-week halt in action on the back of a 1-1 draw with Arsenal, they have a number of fitness concerns ahead of this contest.

That is despite three players having been able to make an appearance in training on Monday prior to the remainder of the international contingent returning to Cobham.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of making the trip to the East Midlands to face the Foxes.

Romeo Lavia

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Leicester)

Although Lavia was withdrawn against Arsenal with what he later described as "a little knock", the midfielder was unable to represent Belgium during the international break. National team boss Domenico Tedesco later revealed that the 20-year-old is dealing with a hamstring issue, but there was no mention of Lavia when Maresca gave an injury update on Thursday.

Malo Gusto

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Leicester)

Gusto was another player to be withdrawn versus the Gunners with an injury, seemingly to his ankle or foot. The right-back was subsequently withdrawn from France Under-21 duty, but Gusto was not mentioned when Maresca gave an injury update on Thursday.

Wesley Fofana

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Leicester)

Although Fofana completed the 90 minutes against Arsenal, he was soon withdrawn from international duty with France due to inflammation of his knee. Maresca will be hoping that the extended break will allow him to recover in time for the return to his former club, and he was not mentioned in an injury update on Thursday.

Reece James

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

After four successive Premier League appearances, James is again sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained in training. As of Thursday, Maresca did not know the severity of the issue.

Omari Kellyman

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Kellyman has struggled with fitness issues since joining the Blues from Aston Villa in the summer; the attacker remains on the sidelines for this match due to a hamstring problem, and it is unclear when he will be able to return.

CHELSEA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Chelsea have no suspension issues heading into this contest.
