Charlton Athletic manager Karl Robinson has reportedly offered to stand down from his position, as the turmoil under owner Roland Duchatelet at the League One club continues.

Robinson, in charge at The Valley since November 2016, is said to have grown frustrated at the lack of funds provided to support a promotion push.

TalkSPORT reports that the 37-year-old, who has also been working without a chief executive for the past three months, has now informed Duchatelet of his desire to quit.

The same report suggests that the absent owner has rejected the offer, though, delaying the Addicks' search for an eighth manager in four years.

Former MK Dons boss Robinson was recently linked with the still-vacant Oxford United job.
