According to Corriere dello Sport, that may lead to an approach for Cavani, who is currently set to be available on a free transfer.

The former Napoli frontman is contemplating his options having spent the last seven seasons at Parc des Princes.

Despite Cavani turning 34 at the start of next year, Inter may regard the opportunity to sign the Uruguay international with no transfer fee involved as an opportunity too good to turn down.
