Bordeaux forward Josh Maja reveals that he would like to live out his boyhood dream and represent Arsenal in the future.

Bordeaux forward Josh Maja has revealed that he wants to sign for Arsenal later in his career.

Since signing from Sunderland in January 2019, Maja has contributed six goals from eight starts and 19 substitute outings in Ligue 1.

While the Nigerian is expected to remain in France for the foreseeable future, the 21-year-old has admitted that he has ambitions of playing in the Premier League with the Gunners.

Speaking to beIN Sports, Maja said: "Obviously, growing up in London, one of my dreams is to play in the Premier League. Hopefully in the future, that opportunity will come.

"My team is Arsenal, so hopefully one day I'll get the opportunity to play for them. If not, then I'll keep supporting them anyway."

Maja has a contract with Bordeaux until the end of the 2022-23 campaign. body check tags ::
