Arsenal in talks over Matteo Guendouzi?

Arsenal are reportedly in talks to sign Lorient midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.

Arsenal are reportedly in talks to sign Lorient midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.

The 19-year-old, who was part of Paris Saint-Germain's youth setup, moved to Lorient in 2014 and broke into the first team in the 2016-17 season with nine appearances.

According to Sky Sports News, the Gunners are close to finalising a deal for the France Under-20 international, who would be Arsenal's fourth signing of the summer.

The Gunners have already brought in Bernd Leno, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos and are reportedly close to signing Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira.

Tottenham Hotspur were also credited with an interest in Guendouzi during the January transfer window.
