Will Young was revealed to be Lionfish on the latest episode of The Masked Singer UK.
In the show's first ever Movie Week, Lionfish landed in the bottom two alongside Firework - and after a final sing-off, the judges chose to unmask the former.
"I'd only actually seen clips of the show before," Young - winner of the first series of Pop Idol 20 years ago - said afterwards. "I thought the challenge of disguising my voice would be fantastic and also I loved the idea of playing a character!
"I thought the costume was so beautiful and I really enjoyed occupying this strange character and looking like I was under water a lot of the time."
The Masked Singer continues next Saturday with another five celebrities taking on a love songs-themed week.
