Four more names have emerged as potential candidates on the upcoming revival of The Celebrity Apprentice.
Although yet to be officially confirmed by the BBC, the show is expected to return later this year to celebrate 20 years of The Apprentice, with Lord Sugar setting a group of famous candidates a series of business-themed tasks.
Good Morning Britain presenter Rob Rinder and former EastEnders star Jake Wood are already said to have signed up and now The Sun claims that presenter Angela Scanlon and Paralympics star Kadeena Cox will also be in the lineup.
"Celebrity Apprentice have lined up a cracking cast and bosses were thrilled to land Angela and Kadeena," a source said. "Angela has been a viewers' favourite for years, proven when she reached the final of Strictly in 2023.
"As for Kadeena, she's familiar to audiences from her stint on I'm A Celeb but she left quite early, so apprentice fans will get the chance to see another side to her on this show.
"She's also a Paralympian and has overcome a lot in her life, so the challenges of Lord Alan's boardroom should be a breeze for her."
The newspaper also says that former The Apprentice candidate Thomas Skinner will return to the boardroom, alongside JLS star JB Gill, most recently seen on Strictly Come Dancing.
"JB certainly isn't afraid of a challenge, in fact he relishes one," an insider said. "And that was pretty obvious from his barnstorming performances on Strictly.
"But at least he had a background in dancing and performing in front of big audiences thanks to being a member of a huge boyband.
"He doesn't have quite the same level of experience when it comes to running a business, but that only makes for more entertaining viewing, which is the whole point of this show."
The series is expected to feature 12 celebs in total and is rumoured to air during the festive period, with one of the tasks involving the candidates travelling to Lapland to help out Santa.
