Emmerdale producer Kate Brooks has revealed that next week's special episodes will feature two "massive" stunts which are being kept a secret until they air.
At least one of the village residents will meet their maker in 'Survival Week' as a white water rafting adventure goes wrong and evil Meena (Paige Sandhu) goes on a rampage.
Talking ahead of the week's episodes, Brooks told reporters: "We have a white knuckle ride through the icy rapids that will plunge some of our well-loved characters into peril.
"Another exciting one is a 'never been seen on soap before' waterfall stunt. Honestly, it really is spectacular. I watched it in the viewings and I expected it to be brilliant, but I didn't expect it to be quite as amazing as how it's turned out.
"However, these are just the tip of the iceberg. There are two other massive, top-secret, heart-stopping stunts that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats, but you'll have to wait and see those when the episodes air."
Emmerdale's Survival Week airs next Monday to Friday at 7pm on ITV.
