The Indianapolis Colts are finalising a four-year, $42m deal with left tackle Anthony Castonzo, according to reports.

Left tackle Anthony Castonzo is reportedly close to signing a new four-year, $42m (£27.1m) contract with the Indianapolis Colts.

The 27-year-old has protected three-time Pro Bowler Andrew Luck since the quarterback entered the league back in 2012, and the Colts are believed to be hoping that they can build a solid offensive line with him as their centerpiece.

The new deal pays Castonzo $35m (£22.6m) over the first three years.

Castonzo played 1,115 snaps in the NFL last season, more than any other offensive lineman in the league.
