England secured their place in the quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup, while Liverpool maintained their perfect Premier League start.

England kicked off a bumper weekend of sporting action with a 39-10 win over Argentina the Rugby World Cup in Japan.

Dina Asher-Smith completed a historic hat-trick of medals at the IAAF World Championships with her part in the women's 4x100m relay silver while Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
