Tottenham Hotspur 'open Kalidou Koulibaly talks'

:Headline: Tottenham Hotspur 'open Kalidou Koulibaly talks':
Tottenham Hotspur allegedly open talks with Napoli regarding the potential signing of defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
By , Senior Reporter | 3d

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly as a potential summer signing.

While Jose Mourinho has won four of his first five matches in charge of the Premier League side, the Portuguese has witnessed his team concede eight goals.

There is also uncertainty over the futures of Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen, each of whom have less than a year remaining on their contracts.

According to El Desmarque, that has resulted in Spurs initiating talks with Napoli regarding the potential acquisition of Koulibaly.

Despite being heavily linked with a move to England in the past, the Senegal international has remained at the Serie A side, where is allegedly valued in the region of £100m.

However, with Napoli currently off the pace in Italy's top flight, they may have to consider cashing in on the centre-back at the end of the campaign.
