A report claims that Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has been identified by Tottenham Hotspur as a possible replacement for Christian Eriksen.

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly turn to Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos if they lose Christian Eriksen to the Spanish giants.

Eriksen is rumoured to be on Madrid's list of summer transfer targets, along with the likes of Paul Pogba, Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic.

The Denmark international is out of contract at the end of next season, which could force Tottenham to cash in on one of their prized assets.

Spanish outlet AS suggests that plans are already in place should Eriksen move on, with Ceballos being identified as an adequate replacement.

Ceballos has slipped under the radar at the Bernabeu, starting just 17 La Liga matches over the last two seasons, but Mauricio Pochettino is said to be a fan of the Spain international and can offer him more playing time in the Premier League.
