Tottenham Hotspur have become open to offers for up to eight players ahead of potential sales in the summer transfer window, according to a report.

The move is supposedly in a bid to keep manager Antonio Conte at the club, who has been linked with a move away from the North London club in recent weeks.

The Italian has previously clashed with the club hierarchy at some of his previous sides over transfer dealings, and the Evening Standard are reporting that Spurs have become increasingly worried that the 52-year-old could leave this summer unless he is given reassurances.

As a result, sporting director Fabio Paratici has given in to Conte's demands according to the report, with numerous players being pushed towards the exit door from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

Steven Bergwijn, who has recently spoken about a potential return to Ajax, is said to be one of the eight, and he could be joined by Harry Winks, Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele, Davinson Sanchez, Sergio Reguilon, Emerson Royal and Joe Rodon in leaving Spurs in the summer.

Six of the eight have struggled for regular game time since arriving at Spurs, particularly under Conte, although Reguilon and Emerson have tended to feature considerably under the Italian, with the former playing his part in 25 Premier League appearances so far this season, and the latter featuring in 27. body check tags ::
