Real Madrid reportedly identify Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar as a potential replacement for long-serving Sergio Ramos.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in securing a deal for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.

Having brought in Eder Militao during the summer, Real are well stocked for players who can play in the centre of their backline, while they also sit at the top of the La Liga standings.

However, according to reports in Spain, Los Blancos have started looking for a long-term replacement for Sergio Ramos, who will turn 34 years of age before the end of the season.

After establishing himself as one of the top defenders in Serie A, Skriniar has allegedly emerged as a target for the Spanish giants.

The Slovakia international is part of an Inter side which has conceded just one goal from their opening five top-flight fixtures of the season.

The 24-year-old has a contract at San Siro until 2023, while Inter are unlikely to entertain any offers for one of their most prized assets.
