Barrie McKay will reportedly undergo a medical with Nottingham Forest on Tuesday afternoon ahead of completing a move from Rangers.

The 22-year-old has been frozen out at Ibrox by boss Pedro Caixinha, being made to train with the club's Under-20s side for the past few weeks.

McKay has since been linked with Championship rivals Cardiff City and Forest, but according to STV News it is the Reds who have won the race for his signature.

Scotland international McKay, who featured 47 times for the Gers last season in all competitions, is to link up with former boss Mark Warburton at the City Ground should he successfully complete his medical.

Rangers already appear to have found a replacement, meanwhile, as Graham Dorrans is said to be close to joining from Norwich City.
