Rangers are to complete a move for Graham Dorrans in the next 48 hours after reaching an agreement with Norwich City, according to a report.

The Gers have won the race to sign the 30-year-old, who was also rumoured to be on the radar of Championship club Sheffield Wednesday earlier in the transfer window.

After having one £700,000 bid rejected Rangers have now been successful with a second approach, which Sky Sports News reports is worth close to double that amount.

It is suggested that the boyhood Rangers fan will travel to Glasgow on Wednesday for a medical and a deal is likely to be completed the following day.

Dorrans spent the first three years of his senior career in Scottish football with Livingston, before spending time with West Bromwich Albion and most recently Norwich.
