Alex Telles will reportedly not seek a move away from Manchester United during this summer's transfer window despite the recent speculation surrounding the defender.

The 28-year-old has made 18 appearances for the Red Devils since arriving from Porto, but he is behind Luke Shaw in the pecking order for the left-back spot at Old Trafford.

A recent report claimed that the 20-time English champions were considering using the Brazilian in a swap deal with Sporting Lisbon defender Nuno Mendes.

However, according to UOL, Telles will not be leaving Man United in the upcoming market.

The report claims that the defender has 'total confidence' from head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and neither the club nor the player want to part ways ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.

The South American has a contract at Old Trafford until June 2024.
