Paulo Dybala set for new Juventus contract?

Juventus forward Paulo Dybala will reportedly sign a new contract with the club this summer, one year on from being close to joining Manchester United and Tottenham.

Paulo Dybala is reportedly likely to sign a new contract with Juventus this summer, despite speculation that Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur could revive their interest.

The 26-year-old was strongly linked with a move to the Premier League last summer and at one stage looked almost certain to leave Juve, with United and Spurs leading the race in their search for attacking reinforcements.

No deal materialised, though, and Dybala has reportedly since convinced Juve that his future does still remain at the Allianz Stadium.

"I think he will renew the contract. After last summer's situation which was a bit strange - Juventus talked with Manchester United and Tottenham to sell him - he has played really well this season," transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio told Sky Sports News.

"I think he will stay and sign the contract. This is not the summer for big transfers. I don't think Manchester United could spend the money this summer to get him and I don't think Juventus want him to leave this summer.

"Another point is that Dybala wants to stay at Juventus. It's important when a player doesn't want to go and is happy to stay."

The Argentina international has scored 13 goals and created 12 more in 34 appearances for Juventus across all competitions this season.
