Harry Kane will only be allowed to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer if the club accept a cash-only deal, according to a report.

The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from North London, amid reported interest from Premier League champions Manchester City as well as Champions League winners Chelsea and Europa League finalists Manchester United.

According to The Sun, City were prepared to offer both Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus plus £60m to try and convince Spurs to sell Kane, however chairman Daniel Levy wants in excess of £150m for the England captain and will only accept a cash offer.

Levy is looking to bolster his squad after a disappointing 2020-21 campaign, which saw Spurs finish seventh in the Premier League and without a trophy for the 13th successive year.

Even though the potential additions of Sterling and Jesus – both of whom have won several major honours with City - could prove to be shrewd acquisitions, accepting such an offer would give Tottenham less money to spend on summer signings in other positions.

Both Manchester clubs and Chelsea are believed to have held talks with Kane's representatives in the last few months, although his future is set to be resolved after Euro 2020.
