Juventus are reportedly genuine contenders to sign Paul Pogba when the January transfer window opens for business.

The midfielder's agent Mino Raiola has claimed that his client's time at Manchester United is "over" and has urged the English giants to sell the France international at the start of 2021.

United allegedly do not believe that Real Madrid have the funds required to sign the 27-year-old in January due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak.

However, according to the Daily Mail, Juve have emerged as a 'genuine option' to re-sign the World Cup winner during the winter transfer window.

The report claims that Pogba and Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had a 'heart-to-heart' following Tuesday's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig, and the midfielder is now heading for the exit.

The former Le Havre youngster, who has a contract at Old Trafford until the summer of 2022, won four Serie A titles during his time with Juve before returning to England.

Pogba has largely struggled to make his mark for United, though, and has been consistently linked with a move away from the club over the last 12 months. body check tags ::
