Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland reportedly wants to join Real Madrid during this summer's transfer window.

A release clause in the 20-year-old's contract cannot be activated until the end of next season, but it is thought that Dortmund could be forced into a sale in the upcoming market due to their financial problems.

Barcelona and Madrid are reportedly both firmly in the hunt for the Norway international, while Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Juventus and Bayern Munich are also said to be keen on a deal.

However, according to ABC, Haaland wants to join Madrid this summer, with the striker viewing Los Blancos as the ideal club to help him reach the next level.

The report also claims that Haaland is keen to play alongside the likes of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos during the 2021-22 campaign.

The Norwegian has scored 31 times in 30 appearances for BVB this season, while he has netted 47 goals in 48 outings in total since arriving at Signal Iduna Park in January 2020. body check tags ::
