Juventus director Fabio Paratici says that the club are in talks with Paulo Dybala over a new contract.

Juventus director Fabio Paratici has revealed that the Italian champions are in talks with Paulo Dybala over a new contract in Turin.

The Argentina international only has little over 18 months left to run on his current deal, and both Manchester United and Chelsea have been credited with an interest this month.

However, Paratici has said that discussions over an extension for the 26-year-old have now started, with Dybala being branded 'part of the club's future'.

"We're in talks to extend Paulo's contract," Paratici told Sky Italia. "He wants to stay and we want to keep him - he's part of our future.

"It has been a tricky period because we were locked in the hotel for two weeks due to the Covid scare and not allowed to meet anyone. But we'll continue the negotiations to find an agreement."

Dybala made his first Serie A appearance of the season in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Hellas Verona.
