Brazil attacker Everton has suggested that he would be open to a move to Manchester United this summer.

The 23-year-old, who has netted 49 times in 210 appearances for Gremio, was on the scoresheet in Brazil's 2019 Copa America opener against Bolivia on Friday night.

Indeed, the attacker entered the field as a late substitute before finding the back of the net with a brilliant finish from a wide position.

Everton has long been linked with a move to European football and mentioned the 20-time English champions when questioned after Brazil's Group A clash, which finished 3-0.

"I'm a player that's always trying to get on top [of the opposition]. Cutting in from the left with dribbles and good finishes," Everton told the Daily Mail. "Clubs in Europe have this style of play too and maybe I can fit in at Manchester United and others."

United, meanwhile, have also been linked with a big-money swoop for West Ham United's Issa Diop as the Red Devils look to sign a new centre-back this summer.
