Manchester United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson joins Leeds United on loan

Leeds United announce the signing of Manchester United and England youth defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson on a season-long loan.

Leeds United have announced the signing of Manchester United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old made his Red Devils debut against West Bromwich Albion in November 2015 and has made a total of 14 appearances for the Premier League giants thus far.

Last season, Borthwick-Jackson spent time on loan with the Elland Road side's Championship rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he made seven appearances.

The Whites confirmed the deal in a statement on their official website and revealed that he would be given squad number three during his time with the Yorkshire club.

Borthwick-Jackson, Leeds's 11th signing of the summer, has also represented England at various youth levels, winning caps for the Under-17s, Under-19s and Under-20s.
