Manchester United flop Alexis Sanchez offered Inter Milan escape route?

Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez is a target for Inter Milan, but he must first agree to substantially reduce his £500,000-a-week salary.

Inter Milan are willing to offer Alexis Sanchez a route out of Manchester United, according to a report.

The Chilean forward has been a massive flop since arriving at Old Trafford from Arsenal in January 2018, scoring just five goals in 43 appearances.

United want Sanchez's £500,000-a-week salary off their books in the summer, but his hefty wage demands are proving troublesome for foreign clubs.

The Independent suggests that ambitious Serie A side Inter are one of the only major European sides to remain interested in the 30-year-old, though they will not make an offer unless he agrees to substantially reduce his pay packet.

Inter are also rumoured to be in the running to sign Antonio Valencia once his United contract expires in the summer.
